Sports participation has always been an important factor in reducing the risk of many physical health problems such as cardiovascular disease and obesity. Apart from its many physical benefits, sports can have a positive impact on students in areas such as attendance and behaviour. Taking part in sporting activities is also very rewarding as these activities can raise the self esteem of students, give them confidence, and help them develop their values.
Rajawali (Yellow House)
Garuda (Blue House)
It was more than an eventful day commencing with the beautiful dance performances presented by the four houses followed by the superb sports events and culminated in a tug of war between the teachers and students. We were all proud to see our students’ performance as they clearly displayed a spirit of fair sportsmanship and zeal amongst them. The series of photographs which I took on this special day (below) clearly depict this spectacular event in chronological order
